Split, Croatia

Today we visited one of the larger cities in Croatia - Split. The main part of the old city was built around Diocletian's Palace. We took a quick wander around the palace ruins and visited a local fish market. After stopping by the ship to change clothes, we headed out for lunch and beach time!

The bell tower from the cathedral built on top of Diocletian's moseleum

We found a wonderful cove for swimming about a 10 minute walk from the ship. It was lined with people swimming, eating and soaking up the sun! The water is so clear!

They do a great job of building ladders and steps all around the cove, making it easy to just dive right in.

We rented some chairs and umbrellas and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon!

So true!

Our server, Charlie, was a fun friendly guy from Indonesia. He entertained us each night with some fun tricks.

This was a pretty cool trick of balancing two forks on a toothpick!
