Moving On

It's been almost 8 years since we moved to Richmond, and we decided that now is the time to move on. We are moving a whopping 6 miles away  to the neighborhood of Collington. A large planned community, Collington boasts a great community pool (walking distance from our house), tennis courts, playgrounds, and lots of walking trails. Although our yard will be a bit smaller, the house will be bigger and will give us the space to grow as the kids get bigger (and have bigger toys!) And although we will certainly miss our yard and gardens, we will not miss the amount of time and money it cost us to maintain it throughout the year. For some reason we just don't seem to have as much time on our hands as we used to.... I wonder why?

Now that we're going through this process I've vowed never to move again until the kids are out of the house. I don't know how we've accumulated so much 'stuff' over the years, but it's certainly a pain in the butt to pack it all up!  I'm looking forward to unpacking, organizing and getting settled in our new home.

So as of June 18, feel free to stop by and visit us anytime at the new Bowlin Beige, 14379 Forest Row Trail, Midlothian, VA 23112.  I'll post some more pictures after we get moved in, but here are a few from the listing. The most exciting part? It has a fully finished basement! Those are hard to come by in Richmond so we were very lucky!
