Spring Excitement

May has been a busy month for us, as always. But I'm so lucky to have Ms. Kari, who shares fun pictures of her outings with Parker. And being at school with Ainsley means I get to capture some pictures for myself sometimes too!

Trip to the zoo.

And a special ice cream treat afterwards!

Worn out after soccer.

A fun birthday party for one of Ainsley's classmates.

And all that painting wore her out!

Ainsley had her spring performance the week before Mother's Day. Each grade sang songs and danced and dressed to represent a time period. First grade was the 1920's and all the girls were dressed as flappers. She did such a great job!

I got to visit her classroom after the show so she could show me some projects that she has been working on. The kids take pictures with iPads, use them to research topics, and then create books using the photos and information. They had just finished a lesson on rocks, so they went all over campus taking pictures of different rocks that they found and then wrote about them.

It was a half day of school so she went to Ms. Kari's for the afternoon... and promptly fell asleep on the couch. It had been a busy day for my little bug!
