End of School 2016

It's so hard to believe that the school year has ended. Parker, my little baby boy, is finished with pre-school and will join Ainsley and I at Steward School next year for junior kindergarten. He and Meredith had an end-of-year party at MOPS (the church program they attend each week).

Ainsley had some fun activities to finish her year also. She picked vegetables from the garden at school with her friends,

And she had a dance party at our end-of-year field party.

Parker had a picnic on his last day of school.

Celebrating his last day of preschool with milkshakes at Chick-Fil-A.

How is it possible that she is going into 2nd grade next year??

The whole 1st grade had a pizza and slip-and-slide party at one of the family's homes.

And water balloon fights too!

Now that school has ended we begin our summer of fun. I get lots of questions about what the kids are doing this summer. Our college nanny, Chloe, has watched them the past two summers, but she graduated this year and will be starting a job. But luckily Parker's babysitter, Ms. Kari, is going to watch him for most of the summer. Ainsley is doing a mix of different camps - with a few days at Ms. Kari's too - plus two weeks with her cousins at Grandma and Grandaddy's. She is also doing our neighborhood swim team this year, so she has swim practice most nights. Parker enjoys tagging along and playing in the pool while she has lessons. It is sure to be a fun - and busy - summer for us all!
